I think that Luis has power over himself now but not power over anyone. I think this because he wanted to join a gang for the power when really you don't gain much power. The only you gain is people being afraid of you. Yes you have the power over frightening people but then you also have the power of causing riots and causing others to hate you. Well who knows maybe you do have power. Well I think maybe he just has the power over himself to stop his wrong doings and make sure he makes the rite decisions.
~Well to me I think he is kind-of sorta-of a leader because he wants to make change and help others. He wrote many books to get his words out and he has turned his life around other than what it was as he was a teenager. So yeah you can say he is a leader. He is a leader because he wanted to turn his life around and he is. He is still alive today even after everything that had happen to him. It was a great experience to go meet him and to have the privileged to go and listen to what he had to say. It was a good experience and I enjoyed it a lot.

~*Leadership Interview~*

I interviewed a wonderful woman named Eliza Ramierz. She is a very strong hispanic woman that has been through a lot through her years. She is alive today and is living a healthy life. Now along with the interview.....
1. Who are you? My name is Eliza Rameriz and I am a mother of four sons, and I have many grandchildren. So as you know I am not 21 (laughing)
2. Where were you born? I was born in Mexico but moved here to California when I was a teenager.
3. Was it hard for you to move here? Well, put it this way there was a lot of paper work to be filled out and it took awhile to get all the paperwork situated. It was not only a days work.
4. To me, you are a leader in my eyes..... what do you think you have accomplished? Well I have accomplished moving sucessfully to California, and I have accomplished buying a home and survivng in this life. Well to me I am just living life day by day.
5. What tragedy have you not gotten over with today? Well death actually in my family. See in my family, death comes in three. One year it was my mother, then the next year was my husband due to cancer, and then the next year was my son due to a car incident. I am tryig to get over the fact that my flesh and blood, my offsping died before me. Its not supose to happen like that. The parents are supose to go first! Im still trying to get over the fact that they are gone and that they are in a better place now.
6. What are you currently doing now? I am a weddingcoordinater at St. Joseph Church. I go out to the church and have rehersals for people getting married. I am bilingual so I do english and spanish weddings, which is a big plus.
7. What are your goals for life?? Well since I am getting older I have not that many goals. But when I die I want to be baried right by my family next to my husband.
8. What was your biggest sucess?? I would have to say my biggest sucess is when I moved here to California and I am sucessfully living now with my own house. I have good credit and I am healthy. Well except the fact that I picked up a bad hbit on the way.
9. What is that bad habit?Well ever since the death I have been smoking and I get so depressed that I get a craving and want to smoke. I am trying to stop though.
10. Do you consider yourself personally a leader? Well to be honest no because I don't think I went out into the world to try to make a change.
Well to me you are a leader and I think you have made a great change. You may have not been Elizabeth Martinez but still you did not have to go out and fight for civil rights for a change. You change to be the better of yourself and I think thats all that matters. You do your good deeds in secret other than shouting them out to the world. So in that case you are a leader to me. You have made ajn impact on many peoples lives and thats all that matters. Thank you for time and for this interview.

~Leader~

A leader is someone that leads and guides and is in command of something. The difference between a bad leader and a good leader is that a good leader will make better choices for what ever it is leading and the bad leader will make choices for all the wrong reasons and winds up making wrong decisions. A moment that i have been a leader was last year in the eigth grade where the eigth grade class was leaders for the school. We had to set good examples for the younger children and we had to show our school pride through everthing. Alsolast year I was a family head and thats when we would get into our familys at school and I was the head person because I was in the 8th grade. Thats proably mainly when I was most likely a leader. In my life who I consider a leader is umm..... i dont really know... proably my mother because she is in crontol of my life right now because I am not 18 yet. haha well So mainly my parents are leaders.
